Western Pike 58- Peebles 49 was I think the final score. One point game thruout first half then Latham out to 9 point lead before half.Peebles came back third quarter to tie it up . 4th started tied up. About a minute and a half Latham made a 6 point swing in about 30 seconds. Peebles got it back to 2 or 3 then Latham pulled it out to the final score with good shooting and foul shooting.Game over

Fun game for my Indians. They are learning by the game. This game was closer than the final. Latham played well. When Peebles learns to believe,they will be fine for tournament time. The seventh,eight, freshman and reserve teams will have Peebles in pretty good shape for several more years. No panic here. Good luck to Latham the rest of the way .

I like that you’re so positive, but Western is terrible. That’s an awful loss for Peebles

Terrible? They lost 5 or 6 guys on an elite 8 run. I’d say it’s going to take a team full of mostly sophomores and juniors with a few seniors some time to figure out their roles and how Play together. it’s easy to say a team that is 2-4 is terrible. But watch the games, this team will be solid especially by the end of the year!

I think Western graduated 8 from last year's team. Not sure how many of those 8 contributed, but they lost a lot. I've watched Western a couple times now. They will be just fine after they get settled in. Like all teams with a lot of new faces, there will be an adjustment period. Western is a good team and will be right there competing for the conference title in the end.
