I think Lower is happy at Jackson. He lives up there too. I think Fenton is your guy here. They should have never let him walk to begin with. He has spent time under Fitch and Norm coaching. Has seen different philosophies and is in the school system. But would he even want it? You've got someone that's uncoachable. Is it even worth it? I don't think Norm's health is the best and I don't think there are any kids who could handle that type of coaching. It's become a tough place to coach. The Ghost of Swanker wrote: Wed Dec 21, 2022 10:20 am This is the same school that slow played Norm Persin when he was a free agent…
As far as Jordan Lower goes, I’m not putting that out there. That’s his business between the school and our coach and he made the right decision to jump ship when he did. bringing Fenton back onto the bench was the best move SW has made since they hired him as HC after Ater left.
But this season isn't over by any means. A deep tournament run still realistic no matter who is in charge. Season isn't even halfway thru. Plenty of time to figure it out. SOC 2 titles are cool, but I wouldn't be surprised to see SW as the last SOC school standing in the tournament time. Deep tourney runs > SOC titles. That's the great thing about SW. No other school is set up better for a D4 tournament run than SW.
