Yep. Why the burg couldn’t find the end zone against the better teams they played. Hail Marys to 18 was just about the entire passing gameRBH23 wrote: Wed Dec 21, 2022 6:25 pmHere’s the game plan opposing D’s implemented: stack the box, slow down the run, and make Burg beat you in the air. Teams that were able to do that beat Burg, the others got thumped.fbnut wrote: Wed Dec 21, 2022 6:20 pmYou’re being generous, teams didn’t game plan for all those kidsSWHITE2002 wrote: Tue Dec 20, 2022 6:10 pm
Opponents were game planning to stop 2, 8, 18, 24, and 32. Those were the best players on the team and they graduated. You fill that with role players and untested sophomores.
Next year’s Burg team will be more balanced on offense. Defensives will have to respect the passing game.

Anyone got any weight room numbers, I am sure they aren't all there. Many kids play other sports and activities.

Burg will go about their business and put a good product on the field that will peak in the playoffs when it matters most. Rest assured.wobycat wrote: Fri Jan 20, 2023 8:33 am Anyone got any weight room numbers, I am sure they aren't all there. Many kids play other sports and activities.

That's Landon Hutchinson. He's a throwback Wheelersburg football player. Great one-on-one open field tackler and a good leader that can play anywhere in that back seven. With a big senior year he could definitely get some looks to play at the next level somewhere if he isn't already. Very skilled!

Same, him and either Kade Woods or Mason Parker of West are going to be in a dogfight for SOC II Defensive Player of the Year honors. All three of those guys can really play. I thought Hutchinson was Wheelersburg’s best defensive performer against Ironton and he was outstanding against Russell and Ashland too.ohbuckeye2 wrote: Sat Jan 28, 2023 4:50 pmHe really stood out to me last year.KCol wrote: Sat Jan 28, 2023 5:08 amThat's Landon Hutchinson. Probably toughest player in Burg’s program. Not the biggest kid, but never shies away from contact. Any team around here would take 11 players just like him on their defense.*KCol wrote: Sat Jan 28, 2023 5:08 amThat's Landon Hutchinson. He's a throwback Wheelersburg football player. His dad and both uncles went to Burg; one on the 1996 state championship baseball team. Multi-generational Burg kid.LockHerUp wrote: Sun Jan 29, 2023 11:34 am Does he actually live in wheelersburg ? Or is he a South Webster kid or something ? Just curious...
Re: Wheelersburg 2023
Ok But where does he live? Because if he lives in webster or one of these nearby towns, he’s a transfer.
Re: Wheelersburg 2023
Don’t know where he lives, but one cannot be a transfer if they have always went to the same school.mustard wrote: Sun Jan 29, 2023 5:22 pmOk But where does he live? Because if he lives in webster or one of these nearby towns, he’s a transfer.![]()

No one has answered my legitimate question. Does he live in the wheelersburg district ?Many "burg kids" do not. just wondering...
Your kids from neighboring districts are not wheelersburg kids !

No. Went to Burg. Grew up on Connie Avenue. Not sure where they live now.BigBlueNation wrote: Sun Jan 29, 2023 10:13 pmDidn't his dad go to East.
I know Landon always went to Burg.
Re: Wheelersburg 2023
Again, don’t know where he lives and find it odd that you are asking for his address. That is creepy to say the least.LockHerUp wrote: Sun Jan 29, 2023 10:09 pm No one has answered my legitimate question. Does he live in the wheelersburg district ?Many "burg kids" do not. just wondering...

As for this kid, his dad went to Burg k-12, his uncles went to Burg k-12, and he has been at Burg k-12. He didn’t learn football at another school. All of his football training and experience comes through the Burg system.
Doesn’t get more of a Burg kid than that.
