I think they both have games tomorrow night, a Monday, and if they both win they play each other later in the week so the game in Logan could be the 4th match-up.

Both teams lost pretty big tonight, Warren to OVAC #1 seed Wheeling Park, and Marietta to #2 seed Morgantown. Warren was competetive in the first half, but Marietta out of it early as one 5'3" girl was 5/5 in the 1st qtr on treys! As a result they play for the 3rd time Thursday at Marietta. Then they could play for a 4th time for a sectional championship with the loser's season over if they each can handle their 1st round, much lower seeded opponents.

I understand how seeding works.....mainly on records, but wow, the seeding for #6 Jackson is way off after you see them play. I just watched the #12 seed Fairfield Union dismantle Jackson by 32 pts. It was no fluke, it was total domination from start to finish.

Warren got a tough draw, because FU is a less than ideal first round matchup.

I was also surprised that Jackson wound up being the 6 seed. Circleville with a crappy draw as well.

Seeding only matters if your team is marginal to begin with. Maybe a good year for them would be to win a sectional. If that is the case then you may certain match-ups that you think may be favorable.
If you are a district/regional/state level team then I never cared who we played. You cannot hide and you cannot back into championships at those levels.

Warren and Marietta will not be playing today in an OVAC consolation. So should just be looking at a possible 3rd matchup in the districts.
