This also could be used for my greatest of all time if I switched 4 and 5.
Your greatest of all time has Pistol Pete, but yet excludes Magic, Bill Russell, and Wilt?...Man
Wow, I don't know what I was thinking. By switch I meant switch them for different players but I now realize how that sounds. Delete 4 and 5 and insert Magic and Bill. I wouldn't include Wilt on the list though. I should put Kareem in over Shaq too.

Re: TOP 5 FAVORITE NBA PLAYERS OF ALL - TIME
To start with the first two would have to be Kareem Jabbar and Michael Jordan.I think those two are the only ball players that have been named to two decade first teams.
You could say George Mikan from the 50s-Bill Russell, Elgin Baylor, Oscar Robinson, and Jerry West from the 60s--Jabbar would be the only super player from the 70s--Julius Erving, Magic Johnson and Jordan from the 80s with Jordan being the only super star from the 90s..I wouldn't put anyone down from 2000s yet because only seven full years have been played.
All the players from above have been named to first team all-decade teams
My top 5
Jabbar
Jordan
Johnson
Robertson
West

Charles Barkley made 2nd team all decade of the 80s plus 1st team all decade of the 90s. In 1987 Charles led the NBA in rebounding--(14.6 avg. per game)

I'm amazed that you didn't list all your little Duke boys as your favorites.
It didn't even run through my mind that Scooney NEVER made the NBA.. lol.
here's my real list
1) Michael Jordan
2) Magic Johnson
3) Dirk Nowitzki
4) Lebron James
5) Dennis Rodman
