Re: Belpre football
Will someone tell Coach Welch to contact me. My grandpappy invented the Wings T offense that I hear the new coach loves so much. I will bring along my super secret playbook files and install some things that no one has ever seen before just for the kids at Belpre. All I need is a PM to get this train rolling.
Run the FB Belly and cram it up ther poop shoot!

Is he in Etta now? Isn’t that where 73 is from? I wonder how Bell will do with the Tiger’s program.

Yeah maybe even worse. Smdh. Just so bad. Belpre is not in good shape. Now Port. Notre Dame as well. They could be in for a rough season. Time will tell. Could better than Belpre. Probably will. If they play ND wins. If not we won’t know. It’s sad.Chief Kdogg wrote: ↑Fri Mar 24, 2023 7:13 pmI believe he has a similar record to the guy PND just hired.
Re: Belpre football
I don’t know, Welch said he got 50+ players. Belpre has some great athletes walking the halls and if they get 50 of them playing football look out. They will be dangerous.SG REBEL wrote: ↑Fri Mar 24, 2023 8:37 pmYeah maybe even worse. Smdh. Just so bad. Belpre is not in good shape. Now Port. Notre Dame as well. Re: Belpre football
Kevin Welsh is an outstanding hire. I always respected him as a person and as a coach when I was in school. This gives Belpre some credibility, something that has been needed since Devol retired
Re: Belpre football
Belpre is so fortunate to have Coach Welsh. He is a solid person, he loves athletes and he has strong football knowledge.
Re: Belpre football
He was a real SOB when he coached at Eastern back in the day. Hopefully has gained a different attitude now and wish Belpre the best of luck with him

Re: Belpre football
My child was in the gym when the new coach met with the kids. He said, “if you wanna be a winner stick with me. I’m the reason Fort Frye has had so much success”
Re: Belpre football
Coach was A REASON FF win so many games.Knowing him as I do, he would never take too much credit. Meeting athletes he did need to point out accomplishments. Look this guy is a class act. Always has been. Coach is a detail guy…he will urge athletes to perform in and off the field.

Re: Belpre football
Yeah, Kevin Welsh is not the reason FF is what they are. He’s a knowledgeable Wing T coach, but Eric Huck and the run of players they’ve had are what makes that engine run. Saying anything or anyone else is the reason just isn’t correct. Wishing him the best at Belpre, but I’m not sure he realizes the severity of the situation he’s stepped into.
