I think he called the defense and from what I’ve been told Phil doesn’t do much with the defense so he probably doesn’t remember what Rusty did with it. When he left they replaced him with Pee Wee and Junior High so I doubt if they have any clue either.

It hasn't been the same since Rusty left. He called the offense and the defense those years we went to Canton. Now we are stuck with a bunch of peewee and junior high coaches. The downfall has been noticeable. I do think you will see an upward trend again once we turf the field and build Howie a new gym though.
