May be beating a dead horse but...
Listening to retired Portsmouth basketball coach, Eugene Collins on the radio. He expressed the desire of seeing Portsmouth join the SOC2 or 3 (Whatever the new setup is). Chuck Greenslate stated that every head coach in the current SOC2 wants Portsmouth to join. Geographically and competitively it makes sense.
My question is this: WHY is Portsmouth not joining the SOC, especially with new alignments?
(Coach Collins is giving a good interview btw)

No idea. Maybe possible scheduling conflicts with regards to Ironton? That’s an important rivalry to both schools.jujubean wrote: ↑Sat Apr 01, 2023 9:40 am Listening to retired Portsmouth basketball coach, Eugene Collins on the radio. So, was the Ironton vs Ashland game and we dropped it for a one year opponent. Would love to see it back on schedule.RBH23 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 01, 2023 12:17 pmNo idea. Re: May be beating a dead horse but...
Unfortunately, I think there's a non-athletics reason for PHS not being in the SOC
Re: May be beating a dead horse but...
When the OVC pushed Ironton out of the league it was matter of time till things started falling apart.
