FAC Predictions?
The Frontier Athletic seems to have turned into a very nice baseball league. Does anyone have any thoughts on potential POY? League champs? Impact freshmen?
Is the general consensus that everyone is chasing Washington CH?

Re: FAC Predictions?
Its definitely WCH league to lose. Jackson has the ability to upset but will depend on the arms day to day . MT is about 1 year away from being a dominant contender in the conference. Their freshman class is absolutely loaded.

1. WCH
2. Jackson
3. MT
4. Hillsboro
5. McClain
6. Chillicothe
POY Candidates
1. Tanner Lemaster - WCH

Re: FAC Predictions?
It could be interesting. Can WCH hit the ball? This is baseball. You don’t have to be good to win a baseball game. You have to be smart and lucky. Talent will fail you in the end. That being said, Jackson is too cocky. Might be anyone’s year, as always in the greatest game on earth

Re: FAC Predictions?
Should be WCH, but depending on how the weather plays out, they could drop one to MT or Jackson
Baseball can be crazy, but the pitching that WCH has should carry them through most of the season. The offense is the only question for them, but get 2 runs and they’ll win most games.

I will admit that anyone can be beat on any given day, that goes for every sport. But to say you have to be lucky and that talent will fail you in the end? you have to be kidding lolslayter wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2023 8:23 pm It could be interesting. Can WCH hit the ball? WCH can hit. Wall, Dallmeyer, Lemaster, Lotz, Walters can all swing the stick. Yaezel can hit as well. This WCH team will be tough 1-9.
The crazy thing is, a lot of people don't know that this is arguably Lemasters best sport. The kid can flat out play baseball.
You better bring your absolute best when trying to navigate this line up. I'm not saying its impossible, they are beatable but looking from top top bottom in the FAC, they are the HEAVY favorite.
Re: FAC Predictions?
Heard one of Jackson’s better pitchers from the pen last year didn’t return this year. Still should have good pitching but that could hurt their depth a bit.
Too cocky? Where’d that come from? Very few seniors on this team….were the freshman and sophomores last year cocky? Or were you just saying Jackson baseball is cocky in general….or Jackson sports?

Re: FAC Predictions?
McClain off to a 4-0 start. Good tests against Valley coming up on Monday, Miami Trace on Wednesday. Solid group of athletes and baseball players this year at McClain.
Re: FAC Predictions?
McClain wind beat WCH and no chance against Jackson. Those kids spend too much time on combines
Re: FAC Predictions?
McClain can get windy at times due to flatness. I don’t think it’s that big of a player tho. We’ll see come October

There is no such thing as a tie in high school baseball.
All stats stand, but it goes down as NO win, loss or tie. Nothing goes on the team record.

I was just going off of what their record says on Gamechanger, my apologies.petesweaty wrote: ↑Thu Apr 13, 2023 5:12 pmThere is no such thing as a tie in high school baseball.

Re: FAC Predictions?
Wow Miami Trace keeps stranded bases loaded against Lemaster. Not sure how it’s 1-0
Re: FAC Predictions?
I went to the Courthouse-Monroe game and Monroe had a runner on second and hit a single to left and the runner scored and Courthouse scored it as a single and an error. Is that just to keep Lemaster’s ERA at 0? I don’t get the point
