SE Dist Tourney Draw Procedure

Coaches need to voice their opinion to the SE Dist Board about Tourny line selection for brackets. ALL other Districts allow teams to choose their bracket line, which is very advantageous to higher seeded teams. Allow coaches to select what they think is best for their team and not just be automatically put onto the bracket based on seed#.

If ALL teams are playing for the same prize than ALL districts should have the same procedure. The SE District is the ONLY district not doing it like the other districts in the State. Puts SE teams at a disadvantage at all levels of the tourny.

It's easy fix that they seem unwilling to fix!!!!!!

SE District Board could care less. Get it over as fast as they can.

Open draw is long overdue and there are no longer any excuses not to do it with sectionals being at the higher seed now in all sports. That was a clutch the district was using as an excuse for years, citing travel concerns.

I would hope this isn't the case, but could some board members from weaker schools/conferences be concerned about better teams coming to hunt them in an open draw?

SE district board has “lifers” in the system that are stuck in their ways. Not willing to change and always has a reason or excuse for doing it.
