Ironton vs Portsmouth was a good game,it was 2 to 1 in the bottom of the 6th when the Tigers scored 6 runs in that inning, errors and walks,a couple hit batters done Portsmouth in.


Both pitchers threw solid games...

That was Portsmouth first loss over all and first loss in the OVC ,with coal Grove Wednesday then fairland on Friday.


Portsmouth will travel to Chillicothe VA on Saturday to play wheelersburg.

Portsmouth has a solid hold on 2nd behind Fairland and play the Dragons next week. Trojans are 11-2, 1 game behind FHS. PHS is 3 games up on Ironton.

All in all a very good conference in baseball this year. Several teams in this mix who can do some damage in tourney play.
