I’m curious as to which programs will be breaking in new starting quarterbacks in 2023. Any schools excited about a change under center?

Portsmouth will have a new QB this fall. Tyler Duncan graduated after a fine 1 year of starting. The most likely candidate as we sit here in April is JT Williams. That said a lot can change/happen come July. JT is an explosive athlete, really good runner. Personally haven’t seen him throw the ball much, and he’s not very big, at all. It’ll be interesting to see if he’s the guy and what offense they run if it is indeed him under center.

I don’t think there will be a QB battle this year at Ironton. Bailey will be the starter and Schreck will start at WR and be the backup QB. Schreck was a really good at WR last year. The kid to watch will be the upcoming freshman QB Edwards he has a great arm and is extremely fast, I believe he just broke the 100m record last week in track.

I agree, Bailey will be the QB this year, next year will be more of a battle. Edwards has the makings to be one of the best QB’s to come out of Ironton, time will tell.

Jr. high, He’s currently a 8th grader. Ironton’s Twitter page posted the video couple of days ago. It said 11s 100m. Everyone at Ironton is very high on him. I can see him being the starting JV QB this year and possibly starting varsity his sophomore year.

We got us a new triggerman. That kid from Racine they all The Whopper has been taking classes at Hannan. We out him on a special diet with ramps and chicken livers. That boy done slimmed down and man can he sling a football. We gonna git it done this fall.

Im in OrLando, so I was just going on what facts I had from last years position changes & then I triple checked that all 3 boys were still in line to be on IHS ROSTER AGAIN.

I knew other fans there, who go to all events & practices would detail us in it.

Just good to know they are so deep at this position.

A true luxury & a complete change for what I-Town Offense was once known for.

The coaching staff has done an incredible job in this area & IT pays off each year with the growth of these young boys into young men.
