2023 Ironton Tigers

The freshman QB Edwards will be Ironton’s next big time player, he’s already 6’ 180lbs and ran a 4.6 40 at a football camp. He could see the varsity field this year as a WR or kick off returner. I look for him to start on the JV team as the QB this year and possibly be the starting QB on varsity next year. His team went undefeated last year in 8th grade and was putting up 50points every game.

I agree with this! Kid is a stud and that 8th grade team was loaded with talent at every position

Yes, it will be. I can’t wait to see my Cousins son kicking the ball, he’ll be a Sophomore and can flat out kick it. He just finished a camp in Cincinnati and worked with the Bengals very own Evan McPhereson and some other outstanding Kickers.

If everyone stays healthy I believe we have a good chance of doing both. I like our chances the next few years to tell you the truth, lots of talent coming up.

I heard one kid (Center/Tackle) has came in will be a Junior, officially measures at 6'4 3/4" and 318 lbs.
