As for your comment on “1989”, unfortunately I have to remind some of the Ironton kool-aid drinkers and trash talkers on this site that although Ironton has a good program, they are not the gods of high school football. There’s a small school about 20 miles away that has been known to win a game or two. Even lifted a couple state title trophies in the air.

Nailed it arguably the most talented D5 team in Ohio the last several yrs. Burgs staff would have at least 1 maybe 2 state championships with that kind of talent

I can’t believe the song and dance that keeps getting done, I have genuine questions abt this burg team. Since the 2020 Imo the offense hasn’t been a vertical passing offense from what I can recall, not doubting the backs they’ve had have been good but I think if the qb is a good passer and develops thats when Burg is at their best. Completely agree. Burg O performs better with a strong passing game versus being a run oriented team. Also, Burg has had more success against Ironton with a passing QB; Ironton has too much talent to simply run it down their throats.

Excited to see what the young QB can do and how much he develops as the season goes on.

lil burg went 9 - 4 last year but it could not have been a more underwhelming 9 -.4 if you tried to on purpose.

Got BEAT by every regional contender ya had on ya reg season schedule including one that also won your conference THEN met up with ya 3rd regional contender in Harvest Prep and got beat by them also.

That "superior" coaching is living off the fumes of nostalgia or MAYBE the burg "talent" just ain't very talented per ya lil burg buddy up there.
