I see he’s one of Darren Gammell’s players.

If the kid and Crabtree can get DG to give the program some space, it’ll work out fine. Ultimately the kid’s success, and Waverly’s success in the process, depends on how much DG chooses to act like an adult and respect boundaries.

Wait, hold up; are we sure the kid whose Twitter profile was posted is the same kid going to Waverly?

Darren said last month that the kid being referenced was transferring from Hartley to Cols. East. This the same kid, or just a coincidence that Waverly is getting a transfer with the the same name as the BH-East kid?

A kid with his name appears on all three schools’ Hudl pages. That’s a little unusual for it to be the same kid appearing on the current rosters (upcoming season) of three different teams because a kid’s Hudl is usually linked to an email and the kid generally stays on top of their Hudl.

Things pick back up this week, should start to see things fall into place a bit more this week especially with our first 7-7 coming up Friday. Couple new players this season and some new starters along the line so they'll all have to get up to speed over the next couple weeks before heading down to Ironton next saturday for our first scrimmage. Good Luck boys keep working hard and learning the new stuff.

Not going to be able to make the 7 on 7 at Jackson. Any idea what teams will be there other than Jackson?
Alot of key pieces are in a place for the Tigers and a few others to be worked in. Some will need to learn and adjust to the fast paced, no huddle offense and learn it quickly. Looking and excited for a really good year from the Tigers...

Realistically what we expecting is our ceiling 9-1 and our floor 5-5 again? I think we could go 7-3 or 8-2 personally

Alot of unknowns about the first 3 opponents (Non-League) but I'm hoping for no worse than 7-3 and who knows, maybe everything falls into place and we knock off the Pirates.

I think we're looking at 7-3 as the floor for this season and some coin toss games could see us in that 8/9 win range. All of this is also based off of the new lineman being able to perform early on as usually it takes some games to really start to gel together. Miami Trace seems to be pretty consistent here over the last few years and return some key players but lose some guys as well large roster to pull from though. ZT lost some guys and have a new coach so not exactly for sure what we'll see out of them. Unioto graduating roughly 20 seniors makes that a favorable game in my mind but it's at Unioto and they're not exactly Tiger friendly up there. Final non-conference game is going to be Mt. Healthy week 10 and that will be a tough one they return a lot of guys, yeah they went 5-5 last season but so did we and we're traveling down there for that battle. It'll be a good test heading into the playoffs to see exactly where we stand.

Only 1 more "Camp" day and a 7 on 7 before 2 a days and the 2 week grind begins next Monday.
Hopefully guys are learning quick and getting up to speed sooner rather than later.

I wasn’t able to make it to Jackson yesterday, had several installs in Waverly to take care of.
Anybody go that can give us a run down how the Tigers looked for their first outing?
What teams besides Jackson were there?

Unioto Jackson Chesapeake valley piketon

Idk if 17 is your new receiver or not but I didn’t recognize home from last year. Against us he didn’t catch a pass. I know we didn’t have 3 of are starting skill guys on offense or both safeties on def. Waverly struggled to complete passes early on but score 2 or three times in 15 min. Just saw them vs Unioto but imo they will live and die by how good 22 runs the ball

Thank goodness games aren’t played in tshirts and shorts or Waverly would be 0-10
