Any word on scrimmages happening this weekend or next week?

Tuesday August 8th Glenwood @Portsmouth West game time 6:00pm.
Thursday August 10th Glenwood @West Union game time 5:30pm.

Ironton has had 2 scrimmages so far. Portsmouth West and Rock Hill. Ironton is a very young team with what I counted as 17 players. The Ironton girls will probably pick up a few girls from St Joe since they do not have a girls team. If Ironton picks up the St Joe girls they will be more competitive than the boys.

Ironton girls beat Chesapeake 9 to 0 in the OVC Preview. I counted 4 girls who are from St Joe now and formerly. I really don't know the younger girls that well so there may be more.

Results from the SHAC preview today on the boys side

Peebles over West Union 3-1
Lynchburg over ripley 1-0
Fairfield over Eastern 6-1 I think
North Adams over Fayetteville 2-0.

Can’t put much stock in previews imo.

Fairfield will be a dangerous team in the shac this year. Possible dark horse in the league.

That's a great result over Bloom Carroll. When I saw Athens in Columbus for EIS they didn't look anything like last season, but I'm guessing they have several players on vacation.

How are the Ironton girls supposed to be now with the girls that came in?

Scrimmage results I've heard from just "talking" with a few people and social media...like I said, just what I've heard or seen...and remember its just scrimmages...a lot of time teams are not full squad and just using these to try new things, get JV guys some time, etc...got any add them...gives us some sort of an idea how things are starting around here....if i'm wrong tell me as well haha
