Re: WK 1: Fort Frye @ Marietta
Cadets got lucky there. Tigers WR dropped wide open TD pass. Still put points on the board.

Re: WK 1: Fort Frye @ Marietta
Overall a very competitive game. Both teams down some very key contributors but battled hard. Marietta has a lot to build on, they are MUCH better than last year. If they had consistently caught the football…may have been a different outcome.

Ff will definitely get better as the season goes along. Congrats on a hard fought win

FF looked beatable tonight. Maybe this will be the year someone in Washington County finally takes them down
Re: WK 1: Fort Frye @ Marietta
Missing four 2 way players hurt, but it's definitely not the ff type team of late. Definitely will lose a couple regular season games, not too sure it will be to a county team thoughBucknuts88 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 18, 2023 9:28 pm FF looked beatable tonight. Enjoyable game to watch. Saw some good things out of Marietta tonight, but Fort Frye is down significantly from where they have been. Will be interesting to see how it all plays out this year.

Missing 3-4 of its best players. They definitely are different team but once you have Miller on side , Riddle on the other and Ross Schulthies at FB with the strength being the line it will be fun to watch.Bucknuts88 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 18, 2023 9:28 pm FF looked beatable tonight. Fort Frye always starts slow they aren’t what they have been but come playoff time they’ll be solid.

So much credit to Coach Huck and his program. I’m not sure FF was the most talented team on the field tonight but they know how to win. So well coached and disciplined. His play calling was perfect. Marietta has athletes and need to gain some confidence. A great and exciting game.
