Funny that we always played at 8:00 and thats back when we didn’t have our first game until after Labor Day.

Exactly. Games used to be at 9:00 before they moved to 8:00.

I doubt any coach wants to play on Saturday if it all possible, messes up their schedule and routine and puts you a day behind for the next week
