Seems like the batting order got all screwed up, when India, and Fraley, went on injury vacation. Reds better get with it. Not much time left. GO REDS!

Reds will never win with Bell as coach. He plays to much analytical lineups and it bites him in the arse. All teams need to do is pitch a lefthanded starter and the Reds are done because he plays the likes of Newman, Fairchild, Ramos and Hopkins. Ramos came up on Saturday night in the 7th and 9th inning with a chance to tie or give the Reds the lead and he struck out both times. All he had to do in the 9th was put the ball in play because the Blue Jays were playing back and giving up the tying run. Pathetic that he couldn't get the ball in play on either appearance.

If Reds go 2-8 to 3-7 on this trip they will be done.

Nice sweep Reds! Big series now with the D-Backs!!

Isn't it funny how when you play your best players you play better as a team. Bell didn't panic and pull Friedl and Benson yesterday when Ohtani went down and the Angels brought in a lefty. He left them in there. Then in the 2nd game last night, he started both of them against the lefty and Friedl went 3-4 and Benson 2-4. They are two of the better players on the team. He needs to stop sitting them and playing Newman, Fairchild and Ramos.

If the Reds can win 4 out of the next 7 that will be 7-3 on this road trip and that would be a huge confidence builder coming back to face the Cubs in Cincinnati!!!

Agree on everything! I try to like David Bell knowing he'll be around for a few more years but sometimes he makes these decisions that I can't help but question his mindset. I understand looking at analytics and matchups but sometimes even our L/L matchup is better than a R/L when that righty is Ramos or Newman like you said. These next 10 games for us are HUGE! All against playoff contention teams. Let's see what we're made of

Yesterday the Reds signed 1B/OF Trey Mancini to a minor league deal. I wonder if they will move him up as a more reliable right hand batter and maybe send down Hopkins/Martini? I don't mind the pickup at all!

Your right Geronimo, that wild card is the only hope now. Only one game back at this moment. Encarnation finally broke out of his slump tonight I see.
