But this game is always closer than expected

Ironton 42
Fairland 21

Fairland just doesn’t have the depth to bang heads with the Tigers for 4 quarters.

Still think they are the 2nd best team in the OVC though.

Gallia is the 2nd best team in the OVC
Second best? That "second best" team was a hair away from handing the kittens a big, fat L last year. Gallia will steamroll most of the OVC and then beat Ironton as a farewell gift

You’re not Moeller, you’re not St. X, you’re not Jerome! You’re a decent team in a small town area. Also quit denying you recruit! We all know it. Lutz was mid and you all also know it. Dragons by 90. Hop off the high school football message board and go see your kids. Embarrassing.

Stop it, get help.

Ironton 45-14
If you think ironton is winning this game by more than 2 scores, you don’t know ball.
[Zayne Williams and Shaun Terry will combine for over 500 all all purpose yards and 4 touchdowns and Braden Schreck will have 5+ catches Fairland’s small, weak, and slow defense will not be able to contain Irontons explosive skill players. 42-6 Ironton.]

Fairland is small, slow, weak, and scared when compared to THE Ironton Fighting Tigers. Fairland isn’t capable of puting together a game plan that can contain Williams and Terry throughout the whole game. The best thing fairland has going for their “football team” is Will Davis jump shot.

Ironton wins this by 20+. Fairland is nowhere near Ironton’s level, not Gallia’s level either.
Fairlands skill players are just as talented as irontons and the O and D lines match up well. Depth might hurt fairland slightly towards the end but it isn’t a significant factor here. If both teams minimize turnovers and penalties I don’t see how this isn’t a close game.

Fairlands defense is big and slow. Their linebackers will be picking up their jocks all game! Irontons Williams will run wild and terry will have 6-7 touches and 2 tds again this week. Id say he will have a special teams td as well. Fairland better hope terry only gets 6-7 touches ✌🏻 he gone

Agree. I think fairland can score on Ironton but they will need a break of two stopping Ironton. If they can force a turnover or two, fairland may have a shot.

I’d venture to say in the entire illustrious history of Fairland football not one kid has gotten a d1 full ride scholarship offer in their sophomore year. In any sport …..ever

Terry is a difference maker when he gets the ball! So far he has shown that he doesn’t need to do the PlayStation thing running sideline to sideline hoping for an opening, he makes his plays within the play. Running circles looks pretty but it usually results in a hold or illegal block of some sort. If fairland can control the LOS they have a shot in this one. That’s a huge if…….

Those future proctorvillle wine moms can use some melanin. Maybe one day that will result in Fairland having some speed in football & some food that is seasoned. 😂😂

Its a good thing those Fairland girls love Marcus more than Tucker huh? Lol
