What do you want a participation trophy ? What you want a moral victory ?Bigreds pride wrote: Fri Sep 01, 2023 9:35 pm All week I herd the first game we was without players now y'all barely beat Bellaire and now y'all was still missing players if drew played y'all would have lost

Fort always gradually gets better as the year goes on. This a building year.

Availability Is the best ability. None of the talk matters. At the end of the day you got to do it on the field. Bellaire is always talking about the what if’s. You guys stop a 5-7 140 lb freshman WRs you probably win tonight. At the end the of the day all that matters is who wins and who loses.Bigreds pride wrote: Fri Sep 01, 2023 9:35 pm All week I herd the first game we was without players now y'all barely beat Bellaire and now y'all was still missing players if drew played y'all would have lost

I don’t consider that a blowout. It was good game. It’s over bro. What’s the difference 7 points or 14 points ? Y’all steppedBigreds pride wrote: Sat Sep 02, 2023 12:10 am Didn't yu say so something like 42-28 double digit to me is considered a blow out

Drew Pastuer still has Fort 3 in the region and Bellaire 4.

And they lost by 7. He was pretty close. Bellaire needs to win least 5 out of next 8 to make the playoffs.Bigreds pride wrote: Sat Sep 02, 2023 12:51 am They had Bellaire losing by 9 and I can do what I want and spell how I want

Clay Greuey is the best punter in the state he had 3 punts for an avg of 54 yards a punt.

Re: Wk 3: Bellaire (0-2) @ Fort Frye (2-0)
Fantastic football game all the way around.
Both teams made big plays when it mattered, Fort Frye just made a couple more.
I thought Fort Frye was more polished when it came down to it. Definitely a win that only programs that have been there and done that win. Thought the wasted time out and not getting the two point conversion in the 3rd might come back to haunt them and it almost did, but BIG play on the last scoring drive to keep it alive.
Bellaire was probably more physical (only by a slight margin, not a huge gap there) and maybe had more top end talent. Showed a lot when they responded late to tie the game after Fort Frye had controlled much of the second half to that point. Not even going down the road of the athletes I saw injured on the sideline, but hope that talent can get healthy and make a stretch run.
Like Bill Parcells said “You are what your record says you are”. However, there are teams with talent and teams without talent - and this team has some talent. Two things can be true at the same time and you just hope they can pull enough out at during the rest of the season.
Great game. Would gladly watch another one later in the year. Best of luck to both teams.

IMO a great Offensive move my the FF Coaching Staff , knowing Bellaire would focus on stopping the run as their number one priority, but using the pass effectively, imo this won the game .
Also imo , Garaway wins this region . FF could make that final game , Bellaire possibly the semi .

Like Bellaire is 0-3 against Fort Frye in the last 2 years.
Good game! Good luck the rest of the way!
