Oh, don’t you wish Gallia Academy had made it that far in the playoffs, when was the last time they were State Runners Up? Please do tell lol……MisterGalliaGuy2016 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 01, 2023 11:48 pm>"Jimbo Fisher never won anything."Paulcrew wrote: ↑Fri Sep 01, 2023 11:39 pmJimbo Fisher never won anything. Yeah, I'm sure kids just magically wanted to go to a program that went what? 4-6? 3-7 before Pendleton got there? And he was what? 6-5 his first year? You probably believe Jimbo Fisher recruited the best class ever (after going 4-8 at Texas A&M) through totally legitimate means.
I've got some oceanfront property in Montana, if you're looking to buy!
First of all, he won a national title at Florida State, so you're wrong on that part
>"This guy has been to what? Three title games in six years?"
Did he win? ..........crickets.........
Ironton has the exact same number of state titles in the last six years as Gallia does. Second place is first loser.
Re: September 1, 2023 Ironton 62 - 14 Fairland
Terry is scary good, at any level.
What year in high school?
I dont known if I'd use Fairland as a measuring stick for the program, but it is obvious Ironton is once again the class of SEO. Go get it all this year!

Terry is a Junior, another year of growth and experience.

The kid is definitely a talent. It is a little premature to talk size. It'll be fun watching himohbuckeye2 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 02, 2023 1:05 amTerry is a Junior, another year of growth and experience.

Before the game most users were saying Fairland was going to test Ironton. Now that they got handled according Ironton can’t use them as a “measuring stick”. This site is so back and forth….teams are good till they ain’t I guess..

Re: September 1, 2023 Ironton 62 - 14 Fairland
I thought good sportsmanship was shown by both coaching staffs and players. Coaches and players from both teams went out of their way to talk to players they thought played a tough/good game. This fairland team isn’t as talented as the past two year. But they aren’t scared to play teams and will get better as the years goes on.
Re: Week 3 Fairland at ironton
Out of the hundreds of good football teams in the state finishing 2nd three out of the last four years ain't too bad. Gallia will never see that kind of success in your lifetime. Being a D4 school you couldn't do it against D6 or D7 teams. Your team can't even get there too lose.MisterGalliaGuy2016 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 01, 2023 11:48 pm>"Jimbo Fisher never won anything."Paulcrew wrote: ↑Fri Sep 01, 2023 11:39 pmJimbo Fisher never won anything. I would say the issue is more with the other schools not having the same *recruiting* staff. Yeah. I'll say it. We're all aware of it.

WOAH. Tuned in after watching game on mytown/ youtube.
I did not think i’d see a hijacked thread from GAHS fan/s.
Which approaches the non-sense of the IronTon/Burg hijacks.
I do believe its getting old, just like me. QUICK!
HELP THE FOOLS, before It’s the last imprint they leave on this journey…
ANYWHO, THE FIGHTING TIGERS continue to improve & prepare for each week, trying to figure out which offensive players need utilized, focused on & hopefully carry the tigers off into the orange tinged sunset.
If the top 2-3 best backs are not enough, PendleTon continues to reach into a Very Deep & Talented group of offensive capabilities as workhorses, or a constant mix of who is up next?
These guys are all special & capable:
•Aris Pittman
WR, DB • Sr. • 6' 3" • 195 lbs
• Kayden Edwards
QB, WR • Fr. • 5' 11" • 175 lbs
• Brayden Schreck
QB, DB • Jr. • 6' 3" • 185 lbs
• Maddix Markel
RB, DB • So. • 6' 1" • 190 lbs
• Gavin Hart
RB, LB • Sr. • 6' 1" • 220
• Zayne Williams
RB, DB • So. • 5' 9" • 200 lbs
• Tyler Carmon
RB, DB • So. • 5' 10" • 170 lbs
• Ben Sloan
RB, NG • Sr. • 5' 10" • 185 lbs
• Tatum Moore
RB, DB • Sr. • 6' 2" • 200 lbs
•Tyson Cox
RB, DB • So. • 6' 0" • 180 lbs
•Silas Edwards
RB, LB • Fr. • 6' 0" • 185 lbs
• Jesse Copas
RB, LB • Jr. • 5' 10" • 190 lbs
Just To list a few.
I saw tons of progress on D-Rushing 3 & pressuring the very talented QB FairLand has chosen to lead them in:
Peyton Jackson
QB, SS, CB • Sr..
He had a solid performance against an inspired IronTon D.
IronTon Could tighten up in the secondary and i feel this is priority. Penalties happen, but they’ve gotta happen less to be a threat.
Up next… Cabell Midland. An opportunity like no other this season & i wish them a great week of productivity & a healthy & GetTheBall shinning performance @ MarShall!
#GoTgo!!!

Re: September 1, 2023 Ironton 62 - 14 Fairland
Not sure where you got Fairland wasn't scared!!! I'm mean I watched the kickoff returner just fall to the ground just so he wouldn't get hit....I watched players make very minimal effort to make a tackle or pursue the play....imo they played scared, wasn't prepared or never made any adjustments
