Whats your thoughts and predictions on opening week of SVC play

Nobody in the league is great. It’ll come down to weeks 8-10 when ZT, PV and Unioto play eachother. Maybe Piketon can compete but I’ll need to see them beat one of the top 3 first

Will be interested to see what Westfall can do this week with Unioto. If Piketon continues to play cleanly they should come out on top. PV and ZT will also be expected to win in week 1 of the league.

Adena hung around Zane Trace most of the night. 28-25 at the half. 35-33 at one point. ZT finally broke it open a little bit in the fourth quarter going up 49-33. The Pioneers played without Langley. It hurt them more on defense more than anything. Zane Trace scored 2 touchdowns on special teams. FG blocked and punt return for TD's. That was the difference.

Piketon at 4-0, but currently sitting at 13th in their region. They have yet to face a team with a win, which is impressive. Nothing Piketon can do about that, you have to play who is on the schedule. But you have to wonder if they are prepared enough for this tough SVC stretch of games coming up. Will get to see what kind of team they are in the coming weeks.

So both Hoops brothers were assessed personal fouls and ejected from the rest of the game? Strange because the Gazzette has Hoops rushing in a 2 yard TD run in the 3rd quarter and no mention of either being out.

It was after the td run newton had and it was not anything the official did just a penalty. Sitting out the rest of the game is a new school policy they were both eligible to play coach hoops just sat them
