Heck of a game so far. 14-7 at half

A couple turnovers both ways but good game. Horrible play calling at the end of the 2nd quarter by Warren. 3rd and goal at the half yard line. Shotgun set and messed up the handoff and lost a few yards. 4th down and couldn't get it in from the 3 yard line. If you can't sneak it in from the half yard line in 2 downs, something is wrong.

The flats were open all night and he did complete a lot of passes to the backs. He played a fine game. But I couldn't tell you how many yards he threw for

Can someone please explain this ruling to me. Because I never got an answer...

At the end of the 2nd quarter. Warren went for it on 4th and goal. Came up short. After the play there was a dead ball foul, unsportsmanlike on Logan. They replayed the down. Should it not have been an automatic 1st down?

"Under National Federation of High School Association rules (which Ohio high schools use), the only defensive penalties that carry an automatic first down are roughing the passer and roughing the kicker/holder."
