It's the same thing with Jackson year after year any team that can put the ball in the air is a problem. Not sure if it's players, scheme or what but year after year Jackson simply struggles against the pass. With that being said leads me to think more scheme because they've had multiple players come through and the same struggles continue. Would've never guessed with everything that WB lost that this one would be close. Congrats to Wolford on what sounds like a HUGE night, no real surprise though as he should be FAC player of the year and make all-ohio

Do you think participating in more 7on7s would help this?
Also, do you think facing pass-happy teams in the scrimmages would help this?

Congrats on the win in what reads like the most exciting offensive game of the season in the area.

I believe they compete in quite a bit of 7 on 7s though. Looking at the highlights from the WB game and watching them against WB last couple years it seems like they sit in zone quite a bit and there's always voids within the zone. WB likes to pass so they're more likely to be able to break those zones down, now the 69 yard TD pass on a quick screen was just TERRIBLE tackling. WB QB threw for 368-3tds and 62% completion, while #10 Smith had 12 catches 240 yards and 2 tds. After 7-7s are complete Jackson simply isn't a team that passes the ball so getting legit work in practice is probably a bit tough to do, doesn't seem like they're getting a ton of pressure on the QB either. I think if you're running the same style of defense year after year when it comes to these passing teams these are the results you're going to get, WB simply knows the Jackson defense.
