My oh my finally the game everyone has been waiting for in SOC1 play and ND gets to host it, which right off the bat puts EP behind by 7. Eastern Pike has had a great start to the season but to say their schedule hasn't played a part it in would be crazy. Southern took them to the edge and came a 2 point conversion away from winning and they're 1-6. 3 of their 7 wins are against teams with 1 win and 2 other wins are against teams with 2 wins. ND has 2 losses to teams that are a combined 13-1 while knocking off a 5-2 South Gallia team 40-6 which is their biggest win of the season as 3 of their wins have come against teams with 1 win. It's just at this point ND has at least played 2 teams that are really good making them a bit more battle tested. Going to be a good one, I just look for ND to take this one at home by 2 scores.

I believe that used to just be the 1st game of the year but looking a the last couple years seems like it's just been on Friday's as usual. So no to the home games on Saturday nights

Well - I am a long-time ND fan. I can assure you the boys and fans know it will be a very competitive game Friday and they respect Eastern.
I would make no statement like that. Best of luck to that 17 man team. They are a hard working little group.

Eastern does air it out quite a bit, they've been doing a nice job this year of trying to be more balanced if the running game is going they'll lean on it. If ND struggles to stop the pass than Eastern will go in with the game plan of throwing it around, have to keep in mind Eastern does have a solid big OL with guys who have played a lot of games.

Eastern's defense is going to be the key in this game. Eastern hasn't had much trouble scoring all season but their defense the Southern game was terrible. I'll take Eastern by a touchdown because I believe they don't want to see ND spoil their undefeated season but given it is suppose to rain Friday(Eastern throws the ball a lot) and I don't know if they can handle ND up front to an ND victory.

The game is Friday. Occasionally they play on Saturdays, usually homecoming.

This game will come down to defense! Two good offenses and suspect secondaries on defense. I will give the edge to ND because of their running game. Low numbers…huge hearts! ND is not the usual predictable ND of old. The unpredictable kickoffs and 4th down calls still need to be defended! Lastly, Cassidy needs to get the ball!! GO ND!!
