Newark Catholic has played a tough schedule and some large teams in the 2023 football season. Green Wave has a young program this year as well.

For everything they returned Shenandoah has been a disappointment. I know they play a tough schedule but Monroe and Waterford are games they should have won.

They are definitely the most balanced.

West Jeff had the coaches son at Qb and he’s only a sophomore. I think that team scares me the most.

From the upper area of this Region , personally I see Ferry beating WCC . Also my opinion , from 8-16 I see several of these current teams losing 2 or even all 3 remaining games. Keep this weeks projections for week to week comparisons

Regions are only a year at a time. Due to the fact that enrollment numbers and redrawing of the map plays a part in who/where teams wind up at. I personally wish they would divide the state into 8 regions instead of 4. Put 11 counties per region and go from there. It would eliminate 4 plus hour trips for away teams during the first two weeks of the postseason. If I’m not mistaken, Loudenville had to travel to Coal Grove a couple years ago. And I believe Malvern traveled to CG also.
