Wellston-Meigs games usually come down to the wire. This is a big game for both teams. Wellston made correctable mistakes against Athens that cost them the game. I am picking the Rockets in a barnburner.

Watched Meigs play Marietta last night. A lot of the same names from last year. Cleland and Burnem are both really good athletes and they have decent size on the line, but struggled to do anything on offense and the Tigers pretty much scored at will. Wellston is improved this year and I think they take this one.

Same thought. Meigs has some good looking athletes and pretty good size. They were woefully unprepared to play last night. Lots of unforced errors. Enough talent to beat some teams but sure didn’t play a complete game last night.

Wellston 28 Meigs 18 win on Senior night. Game was closer than score.Hard fought game by both teams. Typical Wellston-Meigs game. Rockets 3-2 in TVC and 4-5 overall. Good work!
