Looking forward to next years independent schedule.

Would love to see

All home games on Saturdays. Were Southern Ohio's team now. We will pack the house.

Only play music during the game, some of us old timers like to meet up and catch up during the game. sometimes we can't hear so good with the loud music non stop

I want to see the band put on a concert after the game for 30 minutes...

I want to see an alumni concert right after the game for an hour

kids to get in free with all the sponsor money we have it can happen. raise the adult tickets a couple bucks to cover.

I want to see this schedule for Ironton going forward

1 Ashland KY home/away
2 Raceland KY home only
3 Russell KY home only
4 Jackson home/away
5 Portsmouth home only or forget them
6 Wheelersburg home/away
7 Logan home only
8 Spring Valley home only
9 Rotate whatever OVC team that wants a whooping (CG, RH, Gallia, Fairland)
10 Cabell Marshall game or home

If I’m not mistaken, Portsmouth, Gallia, and Fairland are still on the schedule next year. Along with Wheelersburg and Jackson. I’m not sure who else is on it. I’m interested to see what other teams are on the schedule.

Cabell Midland was a 2 year deal.. Heard rumors of a 2 year deal w/ Raceland..
Too bad more local schools won't commit to a possible big Saturday night gate...

Heard cabell midland was a 3 year deal. One at the Joan, one at Ironton and one at CM

This is not their schedule. Depending on Marshall's schedule the Cabell game will be at the Joan again. And somewhere in the week 2 to 4 will be a home game for the Ironton Classic.

They’re going to have more than 2 home games.

In 24, week 3 is a neutral site game with Ironton getting a percentage of ticket sales, week 4 would be the Ironton Classic vs. opponent to be named. Week 5 is a home game. Week 6 is open. Week 7 is home game and week 9 should be home game vs Gallia.
Currently week 1,2,8,10 will be road games vs Burg,Jackson, Fairland and Portsmouth

How do they make any money with 2 home games?

It's called being independent, they can try and get 2 year contracts and make it up the next year, either that or they can try and be like Steubenville and offer other teams good money to come to Ironton and they play 7-8 home games every year.
