Toss-up in my book. PVs offense is explosive but they’ve given up a lot of points this year. Unioto will need to have a balanced offense and limit big plays

First to 28 should win I think

Re: SVC Chip (7-1) Unioto - (7-1) Paint Valley
I still look at this PV team as a team that simply hasn't beaten anyone this year defensively they're not great they seem to make enough plays for their offense to pull it out. Unioto has been solid all year long and have held up well against the run, look for Unioto to take this one and win their 1st outright SVC title since what the 80s? Unioto by 2 scores in this one, I just think they have enough defense to slow up PV.
Re: SVC Chip (7-1) Unioto - (7-1) Paint Valley
Just finished watching the tape of U and ZT, don't see PV being able to move the ball with much success vs U. This will be the best defense PV has seen all season, including the loss @ WJ. PV will have to pass more than they normally would want to, and play a very clean game to have a chance at the win. Turnover margin could be the deciding factor in this game, and PV has to stop committing so many silly penalties. If PV brings their A game this should be a good one.

Onward Bearcats winning another SVC Title only for the first time since 2018 half decade ago already. My Alma mater Da Almighty Paint Valley Bearcats will be prevailing in a great game.

If Paint Valley wins, they still have to beat Zane Trace to win an outright. It could end up a three way tie.

Re: SVC Chip (7-1) Unioto - (7-1) Paint Valley
Could possibly be the difference. Kids from PV are used to the pressure of winning a championship on a Friday night and Unioto might not be. But, PV defense is gonna have to step up HUGEEEEE for them to have a chance, and that just has not seemed to happen consistently.
Re: SVC Chip (7-1) Unioto - (7-1) Paint Valley
Absolutely huge ball game. Can’t imagine the energy for both programs this week. I know at Unioto the ZT win was huge but now coming off that win and playing for a league title Coach Hoops will have the boys ready. Roll Tanks!
Re: SVC Chip (7-1) Unioto - (7-1) Paint Valley
PV always has a great atmosphere. This will be a fun game to be at
Re: SVC Chip (7-1) Unioto - (7-1) Paint Valley
Should be a barnburner, possibly a share or an outright SVC Championship, maybe a higher seed for both teams with the upcoming playoffs just around the corner. Hope for an injury free game for both teams.
Re: SVC Chip (7-1) Unioto - (7-1) Paint Valley
Unioto should win this one. The svc drought comes to an end!

Re: SVC Chip (7-1) Unioto - (7-1) Paint Valley
I mean, I don't think it should really be an excuse, but the reality is that schools with more kids should be better in most sports due to the higher number of student-athletes to choose from. For example, if PV doesn't have a good athlete come out, then there most likely is not another kid of similar talent level coming up to replace him. That is not always the case with bigger schools, like Unioto and Chillicothe for example.
