Now, it’s a program desperate for outside talent and still unable to win a state title. I highly doubt they ever win another as there are no indications that they will in the near future. Pendleton needs to get all the talent out of Huntington to transfer in to have a chance.

Why is “Ironton” written across the front of their jerseys? Should say “Tri-state Allstars” instead. Name on the back is what matters with that team. Name on the front means nothing.

It's hard to argue with this statement as the numbers support everything you said. The players they have transfer in have been mainly skilled players that have been good enough to carry them so far. Then once they get on the big stage those home-grown players in the trenches get dominated, probably should get them some lineman and stop worrying about those bogus D1 offered Wrs they get.

Minford the team that waste talent year in and year out and continue to roll with the same coaching staff, that's a shame for the players they've got some talented guys that deserve better.

I have to agree. Minford has talent year in and year out but do nothing with it. This coach/staff has been there long enough and continue to not get the job done.

Minford is really good at every other sport (baseball, soccer, basketball) except for football. They obviously have athletes to compete in the SOC but rarely do. Gotta get the right coaches.
