Will the VC win have NY down?

NY will be looking to regroup as they head to The Plains Friday night. I expect NY to bounce back and finish the year 8-2. With a possible playoff rematch looming with Trimble, the boys can’t get caught looking ahead.

I think Athens can make it competitive, but NY wins it.

This should be a good matchup at Joe Burrow Stadium. In the two games I’ve seen with VC, Athens has a little better offense and NY has a bit better defense. Could come down to turnovers.

2 turnovers by NY… Athens second score came off of a freak deflection. Nelsonville needs to get complete drive on offense. They seem very stagnant. Touchdown came from a long Gavin Richardson run in which he broke 3 tackles at the line of scrimmage.

Athens is playing with attitude and NY looks confused on the field. The offensive play calling is wildly predictive.

Athens has improved a lot from the start of the season. Athens should have a good season in 2024

Nice win by Athens. They are set up for a good 2024 season. Disastrous way to end the regular season for NY. Need to regroup and get ready for week 11.
