For Ironton. Try to keep it simple on offense and establish some kinda rhythm. Run the ball. Focus on fundamentals. Tackle well. Try to avoid all the penalties and try to take care of the ball. It's way too late to still have high snaps and low snaps and bobbled exchanges etc.

And just struggled vs a team this past Friday with a similar w/l record. I feel like there's a little pressure on Ironton to come out here and look a lot better than they really have now for a few weeks.

Not sure exactly what it is, but there's no flow offensively for Ironton. Energy has seemed a little reserved also. The defense has had issues getting off the field recently as well.

Ironton imo has plenty of talent to play in canton week 16. But three things with ironton will determine that. Cutting out Turnovers. Stupid penalties. And how the line plays

Ironton should win this game walking away.
I can see it being 56-6 easily and should be but if they self implode they will have trouble getting past round 2.
Turnovers mistakes will tell the tell and if they can do it.
A close game will be as bad as a defeat in many eyes no doubt.
To me a win is a win and I just hope they show improvement tonight over the past few weeks.

I have critiqued them this week but I think I have been fair. That said I want to add I think they are as talented as any team in the division. I also think Ironton works as hard or harder than any team in the division and they absolutely outwork the other programs in their conference. The onfield deficiencies are not for lack of effort or dedication. I am a fan and support the program. I just try to be unbiased regarding what I see on the field.
They are very capable of winning it all. As they have been the past 4 years or so. The shortcomings CAN be resolved. Just gotta see if they can flip a switch now however and play like a disciplined playoff ready team on the field and call a game on the sideline that puts em in a position to win. And therein is where my reservations with this team exist. Because they have not trended consistently as a disciplined team and you can't just expect to see that from them, now we have to hope a switch sorta flips and a more sudden change occurs and the odds just are not favorable.

But at this level crazy things happen. Right now if Ironton won it all, I wouldn't be entirely shocked. Yet if they got bounced in the 2nd round, I would similarly, not be shocked. I don't like the inconsistency in the playoffs.

I'd like to see some stability tonight.
