Heath looks to be improved but if West plays like they are capable I think they can come away with the win. It's past seasons but the three times Burg has played Heath, they were some of the softest teams I've seen. Outscored them 148-0 in 10 quarters

Heath came to BURG in '18 and was down 44 zip at half time and went home. Had enough. I ain't saying that'll occur this week but I believe the senators win with ease and it'll be due to their physicality.

This does not appear to be the same Heath team. Definitely seemed to have improved.

Heath is an improved team. I believe they beat Licking Valley this year which is usually a measuring stick for schools in their area as Licking Valley is good year in and year out.

Heath looks pretty athletic, throws the ball all over the place and seems to run well out of the spread. Defending a throwing team is not something we do well, so that’s pretty concerning. They have a pretty stingy defense as well.

We need to heal up quick and hope that nobody is out this week because we don’t prepare younger guys to be ready to play at all. Our game plans need to be adjustable, As we found out Friday night. We need to go into games with more than just plan A and if that doesn’t work we’re just done. Porter Township really out schemed us and broke our will, as well as exposing our lack of depth.

Stop being so PREDICTABLE! Really should have learned that from last year but doesn’t seem to be the case. I hope that something can be corrected soon.

on a neutral field, gimme Heath comfortably. Luckily for West this game is being played at home, they have a punchers chance.

Feels like Heath 28-20 to me

Heath 34
West 14
Heath then has a great chance to eliminate Ironton in round 2.

Judging by the YouTube highlights of Heath, they are vastly improved. They lost to 9-1 Norwayne and 10-0 Granville in close games. West has a tall order on their hands IMO.

Still a little shocked by the margin by which West lost to the Pirates. Good luck to West in their first round matchup against Heath.

Will West be healthy this week?

No updates yet. If I were guessing I would say no. I would say this won’t be determined until Friday night.

West wins if they control ball. Heath can put up offense this year.

Senators are 8-2 this year with losses to two playoff teams. They host a week 11 game, tough match up, but just don't see how they don't pull it out somehow with their toughness.

I agree…Heath definitely seems improved but I’ll believe they can handle West’s physicality when I see it. The last two games they played Burg were 4 years apart and they were arguably softer the last meeting.
