Purcell Marian has a very explosive offense. PM revenged a regular season loss to Madeira by blasting them in the playoff game 55-14. Zane Trace hung on against (4-7) Middletown Madison by the score of 24-14 after leading 17-0 at halftime. Zane Trace will have to control the ball and keep it away from the Cavaliers.

Don’t know much about PM, other than they will be fast.
Speed against an SVC team does not end well for them.

ZT trailed 21-0, but scored before halftime to make it 21-7. After trailing 27-14 after three quarters, the Pioneers rallied to take a 28-27 lead with 1:55 left. The Pioneers took advantage of a Cavalier turnover with about four minutes left. PM then got a good kickoff return and drove down to kick a 29 yard FG on the last play of the game to win 30-28. The game had 26 flags thrown in it.

Zane Trace ends with an 8-4 record while Purcell Marian moves to 10-2. They will play Germantown Valley View next week.

Great effort by ZT after they dug a hole. They were able to contain Purcell most of the second half. Plus, Purcell had some self inflicted wounds.
