Probably because that has been the topic for several months now as it has been thought this was going to be his last year so he could get more time to watch his boy at college.

No problem, everyone is hoping the decision is sooner rather than later so things can get figured out and players know what's going on as it's only fair to them.tigercat74 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 04, 2023 6:54 pmThanksTigernation2021 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 04, 2023 6:07 pmProbably because that has been the topic for several months now as it has been thought this was going to be his last year so he could get more time to watch his boy at college.

Yes, I work with a guy that has a son on the team and its kind of floated amongst players for quite some time. He has done a great job of building a respectable product. Certainly not trying to stir the pot.Tigernation2021 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 04, 2023 6:07 pmProbably because that has been the topic for several months now as it has been thought this was going to be his last year so he could get more time to watch his boy at college.

To be honest, I’m sure if he decided he wanted to step down there wouldn’t be much to figure out. Everyone knows who would more than likely take over and I don’t think things would be a ton different than they are now if I had to take a guess. Unless maybe you are thinking players would reconsider being on the team if a head coaching change occurs.Tigernation2021 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 05, 2023 11:37 amNo problem, everyone is hoping the decision is sooner rather than later so things can get figured out and players know what's going on as it's only fair to them.tigercat74 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 04, 2023 6:54 pmThanksTigernation2021 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 04, 2023 6:07 pm

I would hope not if there is a change in coaching if so there is a huge culture problem at Waverly

I think it would be a perfect time for them to open it up to the outside and pull someone with new blood in. Let's be honest things have sort of come to a stand still a bit in terms of where the program is headed. They're also dropping the ball on helping bring in colleges to see these kids or helping them get themselves out there vs what other programs are doing. Now that certain players have graduated I don't believe there was any colleges in this year and that's a shame.YouCantBeSerious wrote: ↑Mon Nov 06, 2023 2:04 pmTo be honest, I’m sure if he decided he wanted to step down there wouldn’t be much to figure out. We can also say it how it is the kids and classes that were all good and we knew coming up would be good are gone. From 2016-21 we had some great groups come through

Yeah they were able to overcome this notion some have, of we are who we are and that's what we're going to do when each year the reality of who you are is always shifting and the coaches have to shift with it.Jeaux Burreaux wrote: ↑Mon Nov 06, 2023 8:56 pmTigernation2021 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 06, 2023 7:49 pmI think it would be a perfect time for them to open it up to the outside and pull someone with new blood in.
