Re: Cincinnati Reds 2024
I think he needs to be to help nurture these young guys. He is a great presence in the dugout, something Votto never wanted to do. India can be a voice and leader in the locker room and keep these guys motivated.
I'd like to also see them put De La Cruz in the outfield. That speed and arm could really run down some gap balls and he would keep guys from running him with that arm.
Lineup I'd like to see
Friedl-LF
McClain-SS
Steer-1B/DH
Strand-DH/1B
Marte-3B
De La Cruz-CF
India-2B
Stephenson/Maile-C
Benson-RF
If Cruz starts hitting then maybe move him up. I still think he needs to learn how to bunt especially from the left side. Look how much it helped Friedl this past season. I think he led the NL in bunt hits.
Play Fraley here and there or trade him for some pitching.

3 years $45 Million with a 4th year option. I like this signing by the Reds! He brings in a solid bat who will play well in GABP. He will rotate around with him, Steer, and Strand between 1B, 3B, and DH. He hit 39 doubles last season along with 22 HR and 70 RBI with a 119 OPS+
I look for the Reds to still have more moves incoming, with the biggest one being a 1-3 rotation SP. Reds making moves!!

Heard with the signing of Candelerio that India could be moving to the outfield. I would guess he would platoon with Benson with Fraley probably being on the trade block. Hopefully they don't get rid of Friedly because I think he needs to be the leadoff hitter all the time.

Finally can say the playoffs are in sight just a little more starting pitching help

Good off-season so far. Not lost anyone and signed some good talent

Reds have traded RHP Daniel Duarte to the Texas Rangers for cash considerations
Re: Cincinnati Reds 2024
What's everyone's thoughts? Do you think the Reds are just about done for this off season or do you think they will make another splash?
Re: Cincinnati Reds 2024
Good question being a contender, and alot of money, no more Votto,or Juniors stupid contract now over
Re: Cincinnati Reds 2024
Reds are so deep infield wise, that's with Steer moving to the outfield, just hope the pitching holds out
