NW defense too much for West.
I like West's DD offense except they need consistent outside shooting when defenses cut off the drive. I'm not sure what too think of NW. Definitely not deep, but it's early.

Have two kids out right now. They'll help when they come back.

As Dani said....Schmelzer hits a floating 3 at the buzzer to win by 1. With 4 seconds left, Schmelzer rebounds a missed free throw and dribbles length of the floor and hits the floating 3 at the buzzer.

South Webster beat the western Indians 74-48 , Drew Haggy was the best player on the floor he had 28 points and was 6-12 from 3pt. The game was much closer in the first half it was 27-22 SW. size was the difference. Western will be a very good team as soon as a couple people can step up and hit open shots other than haggy and Janes. SW best player was Sommers he had 23

This is a completely different team this year. The Tigers are fun to watch, hustle, get after it on defense, and play very unselfish. The Eagles are going to win a bunch of games as well. As Eagle Eye said, I did think they forced the issue at times and didn’t always take what they were given. The only suggestion I’ll make is please stop acting like the officials are crazy every time they call a foul on you. The Eagles’ players argued every call, getting animated, shaking their heads and even arguing with officials on the court. Guys, that’s not going to help you get calls, and it looks awful. JMO.

It’s a good and accurate opinion to have. The first two games Eastern played they shot the ball well and things went pretty easy for them. When the going got tough with a solid team who was going to make you earn it last night they seemed to give up and complain. Hopefully this is a one off situation and not the identity of this Eagle team going forward cause if so it will be a long disappointing season in Beaver.
