Re: River Valley Job
I'm not shocked at this. RV needs to quit these musical chairs and hire a coach and give him time to build the program.
Re: River Valley Job
You said RV was more or less wrong, but would tell Meigs they would be crazy to give the coach a chance
Re: River Valley Job
Anything happen on hiring a new football coach soon?? Are there any names going around for this job or does no one care about RV Football?

Re: River Valley Job
I done applied for this job. Hate to leave Racine but RV is a sleeping giant. Once my boy gets enrolled down there they will beg me to bring my grandpappys offense to Bidwell. He is finished at Hannan and still has several good years left in those legs.

Re: River Valley Job
River Valley has started a nice little soccer club, at least at the middle school level. I’m guessing they are benefitting from the very nice Gallia County soccer program run at OO McIntyre. If RV doesn’t get its program headed in the right direction, I could see football kids leaving and other kids opting into soccer.

Re: River Valley Job
These are good points. RV needs to get this right and then leave the new coach alone for at least 5 years. They need someone with a contrarian mindset who thinks outside the box.GrumpyPundit wrote: ↑Fri Dec 29, 2023 12:19 am River Valley has started a nice little soccer club, at least at the middle school level. If you get the job comrade Wings please hire me as consultant. Combining my expertise with your ability to get the boys squatting till their roids hit the floor would be an unbeatable combination.Wings Teaford wrote: ↑Tue Dec 26, 2023 9:50 pmHavent had a date set yet but they better move on this or they may lose out. Re: River Valley Job
What about the former coach who now is the mayor of Symmes Creek? Would he get back in as a coach?
Go for 3, coach. Pour it on!
Re: River Valley Job
I know it’s easier said than done, but hopefully they can get someone in there to bring some excitement to the school to increase numberssgtwilliamjames wrote: ↑Fri Dec 29, 2023 7:50 pmSaw on facebook that a guy named matney applied allstater from south gallia
