Who is “HIM” in the Week that IS? 1/2 -1/6/24
Trying to give props to all of the players across the SE District who had excellent performances each game night - win or lose! .... offensive or defensive performances! ... starters or off the bench! - players who had outstanding contributions to the TEAM effort ... I only get to 1 game per night - those players get recognized in my writeups BUT there are many, many, many players who deserve to be recognized for what they do for their teams nightly, on teams/games I don't get to - with your assistance WE can make this happen - thanks, pfloyd

Larkin Friend for Leesburg-Fairfield
Tuesday night in a 70-45 win over paint valley he recorded a triple double with 18 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists.
Last night in their 45-42 win against Western he had 9 points 9 rebounds and 7 assists. I know “him” is usually points but Larkin seems to fill all the major stat areas when he plays….being a point guard and rebounding the way he does is impressive.

Larkin Friend is definitely the "floor general' for the Lions of Coach Williams ... he was shutdown in the opening 2 qtrs by the Western D "points wise" ... I've watched 5 Fairfield games - 2 in-person ... he CAN score! has a really nice 3 point shot from the top of the key BUT he is responsible for running the show/getting TEAM involved in the offense - Friend is most certainly "HIM" for Fairfield ... can't argue with a team that hasn't lost a regular season game in a season and a half , somewhere in the neighborhood of 35 regular season W's in a row - THE constant in that run has been Larkin Friend - he's a good one ...BallDontLie wrote: Sun Jan 07, 2024 10:22 am Larkin Friend for Leesburg-Fairfield
