I was watching some game film of Coal Grove and Notre Dame. It looked like Johnson scored his 1000 point. Can anyone confirm this achievement. If so Congrats to the youngman.

Yes he has according to an article in the Ironton Tribune. He’s only a junior also. Super young man too.

Thank you for the confirmation. My son has scrimmaged Coal Grove in the fall and summer the last few years and played against him in travel ball. Great player and seems like a really good youngman.

Congratulations to Owen......the last 2 years vs. Portsmouth he has scored over 60 points total. With still one year left, I would think some colleges would be interested in him. Good all around game, not just a 3 point shooter.

Im not sure if he can reach it or not , but the three point line may help . I think Chuck McKnight is the record holder and if the three point line was around when he played , there would be no way anyone could catch him.
