Either IHS will be well prepared for a playoff run, or they’ll be physically beaten up by the regular season grind and not ready at all for the playoffs. Time will tell.

5-5, 6-4 at best regular season. I see no path to 8-2 and a minor miracle to 7-3. That said, the boys will be prepared by these tests for a possible run at another Regional Championship.

So replacing two teams on this schedule with two tougher teams? darn!! Good for Ironton, but that’s a lot for a D5 school.

There are not many Southetn Ohio teams who don't make turnovers and penalties and still have the same record as Coach Pendleton. How many active coaches can say they are 67 and 13 with 5 of those losses in the first year. 3 State runnerups in the last 4 years.
