Revive the SEOAL

Post by JacksonMayor »

I have a plan

SEOAL

Two divisions

Big Boy Division for the teams that hung in there:

Jackson
Athens
Logan
Marietta
Warren
Gallipolis

And a division for teams that were in the league but couldn’t cut the mustard:

Wellston
Nelsonville
Meigs
River Valley
Point Pleasant

We could even consider a third division

Southern
Eastern
South Gallia
Miller
Hannan
Ohio Valley Christian

This would give us clear title to
League name since we include Hannan and would be great for Racine basketball

If you take out Miller and insert RV you pretty much have a perfect SVAC. We don’t need the SEOAL!

This is a heII of an idea. I’ve been waiting for someone to bring this talk back up. With the downward spiral of the TVC this is the time to do it. Absorb that new league and make the needed adjustments and bring back the few teams that joined other leagues but don’t quite fit in there. A city leader leading this up seems fitting. Let’s gitter done.

Maybe you should stick to serving the citizens of Jackson and leave the conference realignment talk to the schools and us intellectuals here on SEOPS.
