TV is very good. Don’t let the 2 losses fool you, as they have came to private school Columbus DeSales, and D1 power Hilliard Bradley. TV returns all but their PG from last years regional semi team, who very easily could’ve been the regional runner-up. They have a rare combination of size, strength, and athleticism you don’t see at many D2 schools. They have 5 kids 6’3 or taller that are all athletic.

Indian Valley is very good as well. Freshman Williams is averaging about 20 PPG, and they have a really nice bunch of solid basketball players, size and athletes who know their roles.

JG has nice depth with a little bit of size and athleticism, they struggle with physicality. They are probably a year or two away from being really good, currently have 4 sophomores in the rotation.

Maysville has one of the best players in the district in Bobb, and can shoot the lights out.

Slaughter from New Phila is a great shooter, and has added some game off the dribble and is a really nice overall player. They lack depth, but play a very slow style that can keep them in games.

Cambridge has been bit hard by the injury bug losing 2 of their top 3 players with ACL’s. Barnett is a stud and will keep them in a lot of games.

Philo is young but has played some good teams tough.

River View is very junior heavy but has a good mix of athleticism and 3 point shooting.

Zanesville is much better than their record. Return one of the best guard duos in the district in Hampton and Doyle. I expect them to be in the mix.

Meadowbrook will struggle again, they are extremely young.

Maysville is a scary team as they can put up points in a hurry. Bobb and Nichols can flat out shoot the ball

Especially with they play at Home. Armstead is also much improved, and Watson has shown he can make shots.

Shaping up to be a great one next Friday in Southtown. JG vs Maysville in a battle of 8-3 teams, assuming both take care of business tomorrow night.

Don’t sleep on IV, very solid team who is battle tested. I don’t feel they are much if any behind those 3. Don’t know a ton about EL but I feel TV and Maysville are even. Maysville lost by 3 at TV in their first meeting, with the rematch awaiting next Friday. After those 4, St C, JG, New Phila, and Minerva are a toss up, and then it gets ugly.

I. Valley is solid. Their track record in the Tournament, recently, is not very good. Should be Fun.

EL is 3 and IV is 4

Finally saw Maysville play last week. Bobb didn't play well but still finished with 19..sign of a pretty good player. Get to see Tri-Valley tonight.

I tend to disagree by throwing Minerva in this group of teams. They are not the caliber of St.C, JG or NP. Minerva's schedule is rather weak.
