Awesome
If they get a few more their inept coaching staff can win some games.

Maybe your teams Coach could take some lessons on how to get his kids recognized, get some free education and continue playing the game they love. You can’t beat a free College Education.SWHITE2002 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 3:40 pm Awesome

Man…seems like people on here not happy to see the Ironton kids getting D1 offers for some reason? Makes no sense to me.*

OL in college come at a premium it's not real shocker some want to try and get in early but ultimately it's still going to come down to the development over the next few years.ohbuckeye2 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 25, 2024 6:31 pm They are looking early at Ironton Athletics.

Envy of what? Posting all this gibberish on Social Media in an attempt to recruit kids? Like last year. All of these “offers”. PWO Offers. Playing the game and making it appear like these guys are getting scholarships when they are not. It’s all a game.artisgilmore wrote: ↑Sat Jan 27, 2024 9:04 amA deadly sin,Envy.SWHITE2002 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 3:40 pm Awesome

Re: Ironton 8th Grader Luca Silva D1 Offers (2)
Lincoln Riley from USC flying across the country and stopping by Ironton doesn’t seem like something that would happen for a PWO offer. Same way with West Virginia and Marshall head coaches being at Ironton basketball game last night.SWHITE2002 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 27, 2024 3:23 pmEnvy of what? Some of the D1 kids from Ironton last few years have been PWO offers. But Carrico, Patterson, Carter, Perkins, were all D1 full scholarships. Same way with Terry and Johnson currently. Will all of them pan out at college level? Of course not. But you can’t deny that Ironton coaching staff putting in the work to get these kids D1 exposure.*
Re: Ironton 8th Grader Luca Silva D1 Offers (2)
All the kids that are posted with offers are getting Offered a scholarship. I know first hand as I’ve been around many of them. You are just a hater that is jealous of Pendleton.SWHITE2002 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 27, 2024 3:23 pmEnvy of what? Posting all this gibberish on Social Media in an attempt to recruit kids? Like last year. Full scholarship kids since Pendleton to over program that signed
Gage Salyers- Youngstown State
Reid Carrico- Ohio State/WVU
Ashton Duncan- Miami of Ohio
Ty Perkins- UC
Trevor Carter- UC
Jaquez Keyes- Wake Forest
CJ Martin- Army West Point
Noah Patterson- Eastern Michigan
Partial scholarship kids
Trent Hacker- Tiffin
Cameron Deere- Tiffin
Ethan Duncan- Georgetown
Bailey Thacker- U of Indy
PWO
Angelo Washington- UK
Amari Felder- EKU

Show me another school anywhere in Tri state that is near that. You can combine every other school in our area and they wouldn’t have that many in last 6 years.

If you want to include Huntington High in that list of tri state schools they have produced some D1 guys. But they also would be the equivalent of a DI school here. What Ironton has done has been impressive no matter how you slide it

Also the more puzzling that they haven’t won a small school state championship with such talent on the field…

Keyes. Good kid. Looked D1. Probably tested D1. Never played like it. Was basically benched the latter part of his Junior year. Wasn’t the best running back on his own team - much less Southern Ohio and supposedly had an offer from Wisconsin? Then supposedly took a scholarship to Wake Forest only to leave in weeks to walk-on at Kentucky.
Does that even make sense?
