Nope, never beat Norm this season but The Pirates have plenty of wins vs Persin.

Burg outplayed Webster first game. Jeeps outlasted Pirates in the second game. Seems plenty even to me with the edge to Burg. They swept Mumford this season. Something Webster couldn’t do.

Great game tonight. I thought that Bivens did a nice job guarding Montgomery and those 2 clutch free throws at the end for a sophmore pretty impressive also Lattimore played lights out also. McGraw played good just all around great effort by Burgs defense . Now all Burg has to do is beat West next Friday for the outright SOC III Championship Go Burg

And we get West at home so that's great hopefully get that first SOC III trophy outright

Wheelersburg currently holds the #1 seed assuming all RPI data has been inputed and is up to date. Today’s (Saturday) results will not count towards the RPI rankings as the official draw is tomorrow. As it stands Minford would be the #2 seed. Minford and Wheelersburg would not face off again until the regional final. This year the Southeast 1 district champion will play the East 1 district champion and the Southeast 2 district champion will play the Central 2 district champion in the regional semifinals.

The two words Webster fans will never forget in the 2023-24 season will be “technical foul.”

It will be the play before the start of a game that gave em a slight hope of winning the SOC 3 inaugural championship.

Burg already beat two OVC teams in Portsmouth and Ironton. Plus play Fairland next Saturday.

Honestly I don’t think there’s any pressure on burg come playoff time. My true belief is that South Webster has the most pressure by a wide margin as any team in the area and for sure SOC. With the talent they have bringing in Norm, playing big schools in season and taking on DIV come playoff time honestly if they don’t make it to at least elite 8 I would think the season was a failure.
