Re: Gallia Academy 2024
Riffe went 6-24 at GA.
Justy is 40-81.
That’s a combined 46-105. Surely GA can reach out for better than this. However, why would anyone apply there when 3 out of your last 4 coaches had success there and it still wasn’t enough?

Jmo The AD knows I know him, power goes to ones head, don't know who it will be, but it will be a big job regardless, lots of players gone the past few years, It's a good job in the past hate to see a bunch that want to play can't walk and chew gum,or being knocked on there a$$ for past time, and some one that runs a 5
Flat 40 is fast thinks there D -1 maybe a 280 lb tackle, that would work. But who will stay.

More like 2 out of 5. Eddy had one good season and one decent season as a HC. Bart was one and done before he bolted to a bigger program. Riffe, as you mentioned, was atrocious. Penrod was good but got forced out the door for Carter, who has since jumped ship to greener pastures.Jason Vorhees wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2024 7:26 am Riffe went 6-24 at GA.

Eddy wouldn't be a bad rehire, especially in a smaller conference without having to coach against Columbus schools. But we're talking even further ahead into the future now. May want to reach out to Josh Perry or Alex Saunders.

One word, Jack. Most known name in the county. Yes I know he said he’s done, but if you ask he’ll be there. All you have to do is ask. He won’t take any BS from the powers or daddy’s and mommy’s either. And best thing, no daddy’s on the staff. Give him a call.MisterGalliaGuy2016 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2024 3:57 amMore like 2 out of 5. Vinton County, Blanchester, Danville, and Hillsboro to name some of his stops. Division III State Coach of the Year 2018. I believe he took Vinton County and Hillsboro to playoffs, maybe Danville and Blanchester too. FAC Co-Champs with Jackson in 2018.

Re: Gallia Academy 2024
Sounds like he'd be a home run hire. What about Justy? Has he ever coached at a similarly sized school or has he coached at a bunch of smaller programs in the area?MTSWNGRVSG wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2024 9:51 pm Vinton County, Blanchester, Danville, and Hillsboro to name some of his stops. This is awesome news for GA. He’s a real proven winner. By reaching out to him and Justy both and having them in the mix shows that the people in charge truly are being thorough.MisterGalliaGuy2016 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 21, 2024 4:21 amSounds like he'd be a home run hire. Re: Gallia Academy 2024
Glad to hear Jack O Route has applied. He has won every wear he has been and he doesn’t take crap from parents. Just shows GA wants to right the ship unlike what the teenager they hired last time did.
1980-82.....the glory days of Southern basketball. We almost did it!

NOt much chance of those rich spoiled jackwagons learning from past mistakes. They will continue to run off good coaches and then wonder why the program doesnt progress. Get a mirror boys.

What kind of offense will Jack ORourke run now that he is the new coach at GA? Also can someone please describe his defense. Asking for a friend.

I hope Gallia gets this hire right. Gallipolis is such a cool city, and the fans there are great. They would get behind a winner!
