It's pretty sad you move Portsmouth entire fan base across the floor away from the team because of a young fan with disabilities and a few students that sit in the wrong area that YOU couldn't handle ,if you didn't want them sitting in that area,you should have addressed it before the game,not try to have a entire section move at halftime when the whole side was already packed!

Portsmouth was the only team that has played there that did not have their fans sitting behind the team to support them!!!

Waverly has always done a great job at running these tournaments but IMO the ball was dropped here .say what you want but this is my opinion.

Been going to tournament games for many years and aware of this , everyone was on the correct side , home side is behind the teams at Waverly.

A couple kids and a kid who is very loud with disabilities sit a few rows above the visiting team " still Portsmouth side" according to the "signs" but I guess he was cheering to loud for some people,so they attempted to move the entire section "at halftime" when all the other seats was full.

Keep in mind the kid with disabilities is not a student,he's been out of school a few years.

We went to Jackson last night,they had people posted at both doors telling each team , cheerleader and all kids...where each cheer block was.

To change the entire venue from where the kids,the regular fans and team for only one school was ridiculous.

Twist it how you want,I sit pretty close but not with them I never heard the F word , but if that's true then yes, remove whomever was using it ,as hard as that would be to do,you simply can not punish a entire section,they was some elderly people sitting there and also parents so I'm not buying it ,but who knows.

The fact the you’re so obsessed with Portsmouth is comical. You know how the racist thing ended up, clearly it was true because they changed the changes they made. You can’t see anything positive for Portsmouth because you’re an arrogant (no idea why) racist piece of poop. You need to take some accountability yourself. There was absolutely an F bomb dropped, but make sure you're stating facts on who said it. It was a player AND an adult (wearing a black grey and red top, maybe a pullover) ON the bench.
I seen the player turn around and say something, which then caused me to move to the first row beside a couple students, and tune in to what was happening. I knew the story would get twisted to make them kids out to be the villain. This occurred while Carter was down, I was fortunate enough to be seated right behind them when the adult turned around and said you all need to shut the f up. When I asked him to repeat that, you would've thought he seen a ghost. Matter of factly, I'm almost certain 3 or 4 of the fans behind the bench sitting with PHS fans play for SW boys team. I personally told a specific kid, good luck Saturday. They called the police over to their bench shortly after, complaining that the fans were harassing them( I find it funny when Portsmouth's staff complained that West fans were harrassing and disrespecting their girls last year, no police or OHSAA officials showed up ) anyhow, I watched them try to be subtle about pointing at students/fans while crying wolf. After halftime is when they came back with the OHSAA official and tried to make the entire section, more than half of which WERE NOT students move to another area, kudos to the lady who stood up and told them NO!
She directed everyone in the first two rows to move and fill in around the rest of the crowd in the third row and beyond, and to keep cheering. Fourth quarter, South Webster was crying some more and another woman came down to address the situation with the police.
You can spin the story whichever way you feel will help you feel better, but the truth is, a couple players on SW girls' team had a whole lot to say about Daysha and Siena on social media and when PHS shut them up on the court, their little feelings were hurt. It's ironic that Waverly staff commented on Portmouth City Schools website how polite and well behaved their students were Thursday and Friday evening, but to hear you all tell it, their so bad and don't know how to act.

What happened in the Lady Trojans vs. Lady Jeeps game should have not resulted in Portsmouth's fans being seated across from the home side of the gym in the Portsmouth vs. Piketon game. PHS was the home team in the boys' game and should have been seated on the home side. I do think that Trojan fans have a right to be upset.

Now let's see what transpires on Saturday with the Lady Trojans vs. Minford. If the same thing happens, with PHS being the home team, then it will be yet another complete overreaction by tournament officials, and once again will be inexcusable.

Yes it has effect on a lot of people and kids, even Portsmouth kids. If you can comprehend what was posted even by numerous minford fans and staff it was not cause by Portsmouth kids or Portsmouth citizens and by the way everyone involved in clearing the gym and getting kids to safety, even escorted minford teams and cheerleader coaches to the bus was highly praised by minford school board and josh shoemaker so keep on singing poop.


As far as the incident with the other school and coach I don't need to touch on it ,if you don't live under a rock you know that Coach has problems everywhere he's been.
