Cambridge hired Logan McCort. 2016 St. C grad. Appeared to do a good job with the varsity girls last year with little talent. Spent the previous 5 years in the boys program.

Doesn't Cambridge have a couple of talented guards (one that was injured most of last season) and another who can really shoot it and averaged around 20 ppg last season. One of the few teams I didn't get a chance to watch.

Jesiah Barnett is a stud & one of the best players I watched this past season. Just had 0 help around him.

To be junior Garrett Carpenter is as good if not better than the aforementioned Barnett. Carpenter played big minutes as a freshman but missed last year due to a knee injury suffered in football (very talented QB as well).

Cambridge was decimated by injuries last year. They lost their best athlete who had some size to a knee injury vs Buckeye Trail early in the year. Should be improved this year with the return of Carpenter and Barnett but outside of them they don’t have a ton.

Thanks for the information. I thought they had two talented guards (I remember Carpenter as a freshman).

I was wondering if this was going to happen. I figured he probably wants to watch Bransyn play.

The posting on OHSAA doesn't specify if it's a boys or girls job! lol

Why? The program is on a roll and a lot coming back. If it hadn't been for injuries late in the season, they would had an even better result!
