Good deal. Should be a low-scoring, physical game this year. Hopefully we can stay on each others’ schedules because we have a talented freshman class too. Would love to see some great games with Logan over the next few years. Selfishly, I hope they eventually become league games.

Everything I hear is Logan would like to keep the game on the schedule.

And agree on league games in the future. Would be great.

The Murray kid is shifty, and has a real future
Don’t tell feedme there’s a freshman who might get carries on varsity. Might put him over the edge.

11.52 isn’t bad in the prelims but the Logan sophomore owned the day with a 10.83 in the finals.

Warren is back in D3 with Marietta. Didn't really see that coming.

That’s really surprising. Thought we’d be 4 for the foreseeable future.

Surprising for sure and unfortunate for a Warrior team that should have playoff aspirations. Sheridan, Steubenville, and Hartley all made the jump with Warren. New Philly and Dover come over from region 9. Throw in the usual suspects (Jackson, Watterson, Bloom-Carroll, Tri-Valley, etc.) and this region is going to be absolutely loaded.

Pound for pound, it’s one of the toughest in the state. Our ideal fit is D4, R15. Divisional assignments are for two years, correct?

Divisional assignments change every year now. The base enrollment numbers are for two years, but the competitive balance numbers change every season (based on last season's team). In theory, Warren could be back in D4 for 2025, however I'm guessing it's probably unlikely.

Not sure why this would be surprising. Warren promotes their new schools, new facilities, and kids are coming at will. If you build it, they will come. Some parents actually like nice educational facilities and could care less about sports. Warren is right where they should be with their enrollment numbers. Problem is all those kids don’t play football.

There were more boys on the soccer team last year. XC and golf numbers are usually good too. There's just a limited pool of boys into football out there. I'm not familiar with the youth football program, but I know the community-ran youth soccer and basketball programs in the Barlow area do a solid job of casting a wide net and getting a lot of kids involved.

Summer schedule is looking like two 7-7s, one at Raceland, KY and hosting one. Scrimmages lined up with South Point and Fairfield Union.

As of now, it appears a few new kids have joined the team. Two are 6’ receivers and the other is a 6’3-6’4 215 tight end. We’ll see how much they can contribute, but adding athletes is never a bad thing.

For sure. Getting athletes (especially with some size) who normally haven't played out for football is a win, always.

Always good to bolster numbers, transfers or some kids deciding to come out?
